Solution Focused Therapy Explained What is Solution Focused Therapy? Although Solution Focused Therapy acknowledges present problems and past causes, it predominantly explores an individual's current resources and future hopes. Three Basic Questions Underpin Solution Focused Therapy: 1. What are your best hopes from this therapy? 2. What would your day-to-day life look like if these hopes were realised? 3. What are you already doing, and have done in the past, that might contribute to those hopes being realised? Combining Solution Focused Therapy (S.F.T.) with hypnotherapy produces a very powerful and positive outcome for the client. Its main focus is on the present and the future, allowing the client to let go of past issues in a gentle and therapeutic environment.
